We as an organization are known for providing computer and vocational education in rural area with economic costing through a strong network of centres in small villages and towns. the centre and state government have made considerable effort to enhance the skill of the youth there continues to be a huge gap between the demand and supply of the skilled workforce. This is magnified by the fact that with the population of billion plus people and majority in the average of 25 years nearly 300 million people are under employed or unemployed. On the other side industry is in the acute shortage of skilled labour. This clearly highlights that most of our population under skilled and therefore unemployable. The Gramin Shiksha been established with a primary objective to enhance skill of the youth of the India to meet the growing demands of modern industrialization in India. Gramin Shiksha is starting today to be a part of changing face of tomorrow, to build a locally employable, nationally demanded and globally Prepared work force.

India's population is large at 1.21 billion it is expanding at a fast rate and integrating rapidly into global economy. India is among the YOUNG countries in the world with the proportion of the work force in the age group of 15-59 years, increasing steadily. however, presently only 2% of the total workforce in India have undergone skills training. India has agreat opportunity to meet the future demands of the world. India can become the worldwide sourcing hub for skilled workforce. The challenges for India geomagnetic, as it need to reach out to the million plus workforce ready population. While facing an ever increasing migration of labour from agriculture to manufacturing and services.

Who We Are

Gramin Shiksha is a Private Limited Company established during the year 2010 with an objective to train unemployed youth, school and college dropouts in various outcome-based trades, and help them get employment within the domestic industries as well as Multi-National Companies. Gramin Shiksha imparts training on various Sectors like Electronics Sector, Telecom Sector, Beauty Sector, Apparel Sector, Life Science Sector, It-Ites Sector, Health Sector with job roles such as AC Technicians, Hardware Technicians, Beauty Therapists, Tailors, Data Entry Operators, Medical representatives and a host of other Sectors for different industrial sectors.

Gramin Shiksha is an NSDC Training Partner with a mandate to train unskilled Youth to make him skilled in various Sectors. Gramin Shiksha is affiliated with various sector skill councils like Electronics Sector Skill Council, Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) etc. Gramin Shiksha is also Training Partner in Pardhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY) and also Training Partner with various State Components like Haryana Skill Development Mission (HSDM), Uttrakhand Skill Development Mission (UKSDM), Rajasthan Skills Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC-RSTP) etc Based on the emerging needs of Job roles and client's requirements in other sectors, we seek affiliation with the related sector skill council.

The Union Cabinet had approved India’s largest Skill Certification Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), on 20 March, 2015. The Scheme was subsequently launched on 15 July, 2015, on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day by Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. PMKVY is implemented by National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) under the guidance of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). With a vision of a Skilled India, MSDE aims to skill India on a large scale with speed and high standards. PMKVY is the flagship scheme that is driving towards greater realisation of this vision.Owing to the its successful first year of implementation, the Union Cabinet has approved the Scheme for another four years (2016-2020) to impart skilling to 10 million youth of the country. This booklet contains the various Guidelines under the Scheme that participating agencies need to abide by.The Guidelines mentioned in this booklet have the approval of the PMKVY Steering Committee and are effective from 15 July, 2016.
